What to Expect

Here is where you can find information regarding what to expect at your first appointment as well as at your follow up visits, insurance information, cash pricing and information regarding our patient portal.

New Patient Appointment

Initial Visit

At your initial visit, you should plan on arriving 10 minutes early to check in and fill out our brief intake paperwork. If you have health insurance, bring your card with you so we can check your coverage. Wear anything that is comfortable for you and allows you to move freely.

Your initial visit will take around 30 minutes. After reviewing your intake paperwork, your doctor will perform a thorough history, orthopedic exam, neurologic exam and Chiropractic exam to come to a diagnosis. After that, your doctor will work with you to develop a treatment plan custom tailored to you and your condition. As long as your doctor deems it is warranted, you will also get treated this same day.

Follow Up Appointment(s)

Subsequent Visits

Your follow up visits will be much quicker than your initial visit as there will be no paperwork or exam to be completed. At your follow up visits, your doctor will do a quick focused history to make sure the treatment plan is effective and that you are responding well to treatment. Then, treatment will commence.

The frequency and amount of follow ups you will need is determined on a case-by-case basis based on the treatment plan created by your doctor. If you are released from care and want to return again, you can schedule a follow up appointment at any time. You will not need another exam unless you develop a new complaint.

Insurance & Pricing Information

We offer several different payment options in our office. We accept most major private health insurances, Medicare, cash payment, Worker's Compensation cases and No Fault personal injury cases.

Insurance

If your insurance covers Chiropractic care, which most do, we will bill your insurance company directly. Depending on your coverage, you may have a copay. We will run your insurance card for you and let you know if you have a copay or not. Unfortunately, Medicaid does not cover Chiropractic services.

Cash Payments

If you do not have health insurance, your insurance does not cover Chiropractic care or if you wish not to use your insurance for other reasons, we accept cash payments. Our cash price is $50 for each visit, including your initial visit as we do not charge an extra initial exam fee. We accept cash, debit, credit and checks as payment methods.

Worker's Compensation & Personal Injury

If you have an open Worker's Compensation and/ or No Fault Personal Injury case, your Chiropractic care may be covered. Bring your Worker's Compensation case ID number or your insurance policy ID with you and we will assess your coverage.
